Kilimanjaro is one of the 26 regions in Tanzania. The capital of the region is Moshi. Kilimanjaro region is home to Mount Kilimanjaro. Kilimanjaro Region is bordered to the North and East by Kenya, to the South by the Tanga Region, to the Southwest by the Manyara Region, and to the West by the Arusha Region.

CULTURE;

Kilimanjaro culture is influnced by three major tribes of the regions which are The Chagga, Pare, and Maasai. Chaggas and Pares are mainly agriculturists, the leading producers of Arabica Coffee inTanzania. Apart from coffee, the Chagga and Pare produce banana, which is the steppe food of the region.

Some Tour Operators organise cultural tour of the region, which takes tourists around Kilimanjaro villages to see cultural activieties, and test kilimanjaro traditional foods.

You can also take a tour around Moshi town to see the relaxed, and a colonial nature of the city. On the way, enjoy a greaty view of mount Kilimanjaro.
